Play Ball!

Yesterday was my first Cards game of the '05 Season, and I was not disappointed. Hanging out with good friends, great view of the field, couldn't ask for much more. Although I did get sunburned. The burn is no where NEAR as annoying as the fact that I had to endure the observation at work. I swear, if one more person said "Looks like you got a little sun", I was going to lose it.

Oh well, here's to 70 more chances to catch the redbirds in the stadium I grew up with. Go Cards!

OK, i've been neglecting this blog as of late. I swear that someone is venting knockout gas into my apartment every night. Ah well. OK, here is my brief summary of significant events in the past few weeks.

Since when did the FBI start advertising? I saw their commercial. Honestly, the latest commercial for ITT Tech was done better. Pretty bad when more people believe they can have a better future from a 2-year technical institute...

The drivers in Missouri are getting worse. I was stuck behind a guy today, in RUSH HOUR traffic. Bad enough he's driving a rusted-out "classic" car. But to "up the ante", he's also talking on a cell phone and smoking a cigarette. And every 10 seconds, he takes his one free hand off the wheel to take adrag from his cigarette. I love highway driving.

I received more junk mail today. Is there honestly anyone out there who gets these ads addressed to "Sensible Driver at" or "Our neighborhood friends at" and thinks "Finally! Recognition!"?
